RESIDENCE PERMISSION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A.RESIDENCE PERMIT – FIRST APPLICATION

After completing student registration at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, students applying for the first time for a residence permit HAVE TO make an appointment via "Google Appointment Form" to start their Residence Permit application within their visa or visa exemption period with International Students Office of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. The appointment should be made via “ Google Appointment Form”, which will be sent to the student’s registered email and is given in the link below. Students HAVE TO come to the International Students Office with the required documents at the appointed date and time for their application.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE FIRST APPLICATION
1. Your passport and a photocopy of the pages with your personal information, visa and entrance stamps to Turkey,
2. Insurance Certificate: Students should submit one of the following documents:
a. Private Health Insurance: Students who will take out or who have previously taken out health insurance from a private health insurance company have to submit photocopies of the first, second and final pages of their insurance document.
b. State insurance : for those intending to apply with SGK insurance (state insurance from the Social Security Institution) you will need to bring sign a document stating that you will obtain SGK insurance during your appointment. It is recommended that all students apply for state insurance.
3. 4 biometric (with white background) passport sized photographs,
4. Student Certificate (original) (issued by the Students Affairs Office of your Faculty/School),
5. Residence Permission Card Fee Receipt of 72 Turkish Liras for 2018. Students will be given a form during their Residence Permission appointment which they should take to a branch of the Ministry of Finance (Maliye) in Aydın and pay the money to the cashier. The payment receipt should be given to the International Students Office of Aydın Adnan Menderes University,
6. An official letter stating your place of residence. Students need to submit one of the following documents:
a. Students staying in dormitories will need an official letter (signed and stamped) from the dormitory,
b. Those in private accommodation will need a notarized copy of their house contract.

    B. RESIDENCE PERMIT - EXTENSION

Students studying at Aydın Adnan Menderes University who need to extend their residence permit before its expiration date or those whose residence permit has expired HAVE TO make an appointment via "Google Appointment Form" which will be sent to the students’ registered email and is given in the link below to complete the extension of their Residence Permit application.

Students who need to extend their residence permit HAVE TO come to the International Students Office at the appointed date and time for their application. Students HAVE TO also apply for their residence permit extension with the required documents up to 25 days before its expiration date.

2. Insurance Certificate : Students should submit one of the following documents:
a. Private Health Insurance: Students who will take out or who have previously taken out health insurance from a private health insurance company have to submit photocopies of the first, second and final pages of their insurance document.
b. State Insurance: Students who have State Insurance (from SGK – Social Security Institution) have to submit their SGK State Insurance health document.

a. Students staying in dormitories will need an official letter (signed and stamped) from the dormitory,
b. Those in private accommodation need to bring an official letter stating their place of residence issued by the District Registry Office (İlçe Nüfus Müdürlüğü) or need a notarized copy of their house contract.

Appointment Dates and Hours :

Monday- Tuesday – Wednesday - Thursday

Applications will be accepted from 09:00 am to 11.30 am.
